[Bug 1578201] Re: ampache does not work on xenial/php7
The fix allows me to login but browsing the music catalog (whether browsing artists, song titles, or albums) reports "Not enough data." However, the MySQL database is updated. Clicking, e.g., Random Album populates the playlist with a random album, and searching for artists returns valid results. I'm not sure if this is related to this bug. (I've tried to delete the catalog and re-add it but this doesn't change anything.) There's nothing in the Apache error log. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1578201 Title: ampache does not work on xenial/php7 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ampache/+bug/1578201/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1038733] [NEW] LDAP address book doesn't search LDAP server
Public bug reported: When I add an LDAP address book, Evolution won't search the database. I've entered the following information for the address book: The "Server" field contains "crtdir.certifikat.dk", and the port is 389. I've specified an insecure connection (that is, without SSL or TLS) and anonymous login. The login field is left empty. The above LDAP server answers queries that are performed from the command line; for example: ldapsearch -x -h crtdir.certifikat.dk -b "c=DK" "mail=w...@blazingangles.com" will return its search results for the email address "w...@blazingangles.com". For debugging, I set up an LDAP server on my own computer. According to the LDAP debug log set to max debugging level, evolution doesn't even seem to attempt to connect to the LDAP server. [Bug 798571] Re: php5-auth-pam obsolete
Work-around: Install the PECL version using "sudo pecl install pam" without removing php5-auth-pam. The build may require some build libraries to be installed, libpam0g-dev being one of them. Then, remove the module in /etc/php5/conf.d/pam_auth.ini by prepending it with a ';' (semicolon, without quotes). Create a new file in the same directory named "pam.ini" with the contents: "extension=pam.so" (without quotes). Restart the web server. The above workaround may be overwritten whenever php5-pam-auth is updated, but since it appears to be unmaintained, this isn't likely to happen too often. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/798571 Title: php5-auth-pam obsolete To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/php-auth-pam/+bug/798571/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 848749] [NEW] Echo isn't cancelled
Public bug reported: Ekiga produces an audible echo even if the echo cancellation setting is enabled, so it seems there's a problem with the echo canceller. Details: I've setup Ekiga to use my USB webcam's built-in microphone as input device and the loudspeakers as output sound device. This obviously causes the microphone to pick up any sound produced by the dialled party. True, when I call the Ekiga echo test, my voice is played back with a very audible echo. There seems to be no difference whether I check the echo cancellation checkbox in the Ekiga preferences. Workaround: Headphones can be used as a workaround. However, in the many cases when I'm not working as Satan's henchman and is required to greet people with "Bow down to your new master!" in an ominous voice, I'd prefer to be able to use Ekiga without having to resort to a headset. [Bug 434835] Re: unattended-upgrades hangs system on shutdown
Trying to debug, it turns out it may not be the unattended upgrades shutdown check on my computer after all; it just happens to be at this stage where the "real" hang occurs. Specifically, the wireless network card seems to be the culprit, not the unattended upgrades script. -- unattended-upgrades hangs system on shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/434835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 434835] Re: unattended-upgrades hangs system on shutdown
After upgrading from Lucid netbook remix to Maverick on an MSI Wind U135 netbook, I'm seeing this bug, too. The bug also appeared after a fresh install of Maverick on the same netbook. -- unattended-upgrades hangs system on shutdown https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/434835 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 658197] Re: upgrade to 10.10 breaks login if using pam_encfs
I had converted an originally unencrypted home directory on 10.04 to an encrypted home directory using the guide at: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/EncryptedHomeFolder. My recent upgrade to 10.10 caused the error described here. Temporary work-around: Manually downgrading util-linux to 2.16 and downgrading mount to the previous release (i.e., downloading via the repository pools and installing with dkpg) reenabled the encrypted home folder on login. I assume it was the util-linux downgrade and not the mount downgrade that helped. -- upgrade to 10.10 breaks login if using pam_encfs https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/658197 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 137858] Re: Error on installing dante-server package
I can confirm that this is also a problem in Kubuntu 8.10. On apt-get install, I get an output that is similar to the one reported by "icorbett". In addition, it appears that /etc/danted.conf isn't created. -- Error on installing dante-server package https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/137858 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
