[Bug 841463] Re: python plugins are currently broken

2011-11-15 Thread Olivier FAURAX
The magnatune plugin is the culprit.

Here the trace I have when loading the magnatune plugin:
/usr/lib/python2.7/dist-packages/gobject/constants.py:24: Warning:
g_boxed_type_register_static: assertion `g_type_from_name (name) == 0' failed
  import gobject._gobject
TypeError: metaclass conflict: the metaclass of a derived class must be a
(non-strict) subclass of the metaclasses of all its bases
**
ERROR:/build/buildd/pygobject-3.0.0/gi/_gobject/pygobject.c:929:pygobject_new_full:
 assertion failed: (tp != NULL)
Abandon

This is kind of critical, as rhythmbox refuses to start if magnatune is
activated in the plugin panel.

[Bug 595265] Re: Can not add Facebook account as add button not displayed after authorisation.

2010-09-18 Thread Olivier FAURAX
I just got the problem on a Mandriva 2010.1, with the latest gwibber
trunk (864).

I tried this with no luck :
- standard way : add of facebook account in gwibber, logging with username (NOT
e-mail) and password
- removing the gwibber app from facebook, and retry of standard way

The workaround that worked for me :
- removing the gwibber app from facebook, reloading http://www.facebook.com/[my
username] and retry of the standard way

As I was on the trunk, I hacked a bit to get more information on what was
happening.
There is an except: pass in the facebook code (with a #FIXME).
I removed the pass to a raise and got this exception :
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File /home/leo/lp/gwibber/gwibber/lib/gtk/facebook.py, line 134, in
on_facebook_auth_title_change

raise FacebookError(response['error_code'], response['error_msg'],
response['request_args'])
gwibber.microblog.util.facelib.FacebookError: Error 4: Application request
limit reached

After the workaround, there has not been this exception anymore.
I hope this will help you fix the problem, or at least, show a message helping
the user.

[Bug 614742] Re: [meta] cannot add facebook account, facebook does not update and more

2010-09-07 Thread Olivier FAURAX
When trying to save the facebook account after a successful registration, the
click on Save give this :
Saving...
Couldn't find field: username

And the facebook account is not added.
I use it on Mandriva Linux 2010.1.
