[Bug 310882] Re: fop warning: "SEVERE: Couldn't find hyphenation pattern en" (missing fop-hyph package)
The fix for png problem has been backported from upstream to the version in jaunty. Regarding hyphenation patterns. AFAIK, they contain lot of non-Free or non-distributable patterns. So I haven't yet got around packaging them so that it would satisfy archive admins. But the fop launcher script now reads some configuration from home directory (or environment variable) where you can specify the path of fop-hyph.jar. This change was implemented by Vincent Fourmond in Debian unstable [1]. This particular fix is not available in Ubuntu jaunty. It is available in Ubuntu karmic though. [Bug 66621] Re: update-alternatives doesn't update java plugin
The problem is solved but in a weird way. 1. sudo apt-get install --reinstall java-gcj-compat-plugin gcjwebplugin-4.1 didn't help. Appearantly no link is ever created in /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ I checked the directory /uer/lib/mozilla/plugins and found a symlink libjavaplugin.so which was pointing to /etc/alternatives/mozilla- javaplugin.so The link /etc/alternatives/mozilla-javaplugin.so was a broken symlink to my uninstalled sun jvm plugin from multiverse. So I did 'sudo update-alternatives --config mozilla-javaplugin.so' and selected proper option. After all this I can see the gcjwebplugin in firefox (about:plugins). Also /etc/alternatives/firefox-javaplugin.so points to gcj web plugin. I guess it happened yesterday but I was too busy checking /usr/lib/firefox/plugins/ But it looks like it is not being used from anywhere, specifically from /usr/lib/firefox/plugins So, I think we should remove firefox-javaplugin.so configuration and should only keep mozilla-javaplugin.so -- update-alternatives doesn't update java plugin https://launchpad.net/bugs/66621 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

This is not mozilla issue. This is Java issue which was present in 1.4.x version of Java. Not sure if it is still present in 1.5.x. This issue has been reported in Sun's issue tracker system but I don't know it's status. I should have all this info in old mails and I don't have access to them right now. Hi Donatas, I am a user of SE K700i and use the remote control functionality regularly. I have faced this problem but I believe this problem is not related to bluetooth packages. I suggest following actions. See if those solve your problem. 1. Make sure that you have bluez-passkey-agent package installed. 2. Go through https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bluetooth/TestPlan and try executing test cases step by step. If you don't face any problem then proceed. 3. Delete any entry in the bluetooth devices sections of your phone that corresponds (or used to correspond) to your PC. 4. Go to the bluetooth remote control menu of your phone. 5. Before selecting any HID profile, select 'More' and then 'Select Device'. Now your phone will try to detect your PC. After this the remote control functionality should work. Jigdo files for daily builds (which is fundamentally what milestone releases are - the archive is still changing under them) never work for very long. It didn't work even for 24 hours. I tried the download on same day when herd 3 was released. As I said the problem is version mismatch and it occurred because the .deb files corresponding to version specified in .jigdo files don't exist at all.
