[Bug 192629] Re: Cannot move file to trash, do you want to delete immediately? on NTFS / VFAT partitions

2009-05-25 Thread Ozzyprv

I totally agree with Andrew Simpson (what he wrote on 2009-04-10). It is a
bug, no matter how you put it.
Particularly since it was not there before ( 8.04, I think).

If this is not the right place to post this, trying to get it fix (by
the kind volunteers), please let me know where should I go.

Thanks.

[Bug 120434] Re: [needs-packaging] Ricoh R5U87x Webcam userland tools

2008-12-21 Thread Ozzyprv
I sincerely apologize for the confusion.

What I meant was that the webcam was NOT working on my HP dv9005ca
running Ubuntu 8.10

The output from terminal were correct:

from lsusb
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 05ca:1810 Ricoh Co., Ltd

lsmod | grep videodev
videodev 41344 1 uvcvideo
v4l1_compat 22404 2 uvcvideo,videodev

PS: I wish I could delete/edit my previous post.

I removed NVIDIA-Settings.desktop and the problem was solved. That

[Bug 59392] Re: update-desktop-database segfault

2008-03-03 Thread Ozzyprv

Thank you Bill, problem solved.
I got the same empty place holder, for my nvidia card. The empty file was
NVIDIA-Settings.desktop. I removed the file and the problem is gone.
I remember creating that placeholder when I installed the nvidia driver to get
it to work on my laptop (HP) which is still running Feisty.
