[Bug 1875066] Re: Missing NM-icon for established vpn-connections
This bug is still unfixed for wired connections... If one opens and saves the file "status/22/nm-device-wired-secure.svg" with inkscape as a regular SVG file, this cures the problem also for wired connections. I attach the file here for reference. Please also note the very same procedure needs to be done also for the "Radiant-MATE" set. Thanks and best greetings! ** Attachment added: "fixed wired VPN connection icon" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-mate-artwork/+bug/1875066/+attachment/5506494/+files/nm-device-wired-secure.svg -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875066 Title: Missing NM-icon for established vpn-connections To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-mate/+bug/1875066/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 546578] Re: black screen after a few user switches
I am a victim of this bug since version 10.04. I've been using Ubuntu since 2006 and it's the first time that a bug last this long and is so annoying. I have a full updated 10.10-64 bit Ubuntu version and the bug is still affecting me. I can almost tell when the crash will arrive. The only thing that works when the bug arrives is Alt+PrintSc+S+U+B. Alt+F1 or Alt+F7 or any other combination does not do anything. We are four on the same family computer. I run a lot of image processing and I never know when my process will crash just because on of my child only wants to chat with someone in there account. I'm almost at the point were I would like to test some other distribution or even go back to Windows. I really like Ubuntu and since 2006 I'm a passionate user but this one is realy bad, a real showstopper. Great, TV-card and tvtime installed, here too. I use the v4l drivers instead of the built-in for the TV-card. Did anyone checked already, if tvtime needs to be running to cause the bug or if the TV-card needs to be plugged in (which would perhaps indicate if the problem is caused by the dirver or the tvtime software). -- shift key get stuck randomly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588473 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 588473] Re: shift key get stuck randomly
Well, no idea, what KeepassX is... anyways. I think the described bug happens here, too. Btw. I found something very disturbing, which could be a related indicator, if you suffer from this bug: I was in a text file and continously pressed 'y'. The 'y' key which is located on my keyboard, where the american keyboard has the 'z'. This happened: > 0.0638 0.E+00 0.E+00 > 3.3568E+02 > 7.0077E-01 5.5528E-06 You see, thaht during I hold down the 'y' key, the keymap suddenly changed (apparently). Usually I experience the shift-key-problem, when I hold the shift-key for longer than just one single keypress. [Bug 597753] Re: Entire UI(Gnome+apps) behaves like shift button is continually pressed
I experience the same problem, since one week now - and only on Ubuntu, not on Windows. I have a quiet new keyboard and just re-seated the connector on the mainboard (its a notebook). The problem is still there (only on Ubuntu) - so I can quiet sure exclude any hardware issues. I have no flash activated and experience the problem on gedit, evolution and in the browser. So I think this has nothing to do with the software that is being used. The problem goes away usually after some seconds or minutes of inactivity. Sometimes I have the impression, that it is being caused by Ctrl+Shift combinations, but this might be pure chance, since it definitely happened after simple keypresses (like Return), too. Yes, I'm a fast writer. I was already guessing for something like Orca interfering, but all this is completely disabled. I just made some user-defined settings in keystroke-combinations settings dialogue, but I can't see anything strange, there. Help would really be appreciated, thanks. Still present also for me in Lucid. You can see in the screenshot one broken instance (CPU1) showing some damaged area of its own tooltip help and one working instance (CPU0) at the same time.
