Running MythBuntu (14.04.2 LTS) and I think the update stalled.  I get a
system problem message whenever I reboot now (and while the system is
running).

Sorry about typo :-(
Meant to be 53495.
However by now I have re-tried install using CD #1 and "use whole disk"
as per my very first attempt. This time no problems at all. Reason for
initial failures seems a mystery therefore. I still think Ubuntu is the
greatest !! :-)

ist install ran to completion with out errors except for error message
fail to access security updates. On reboot, failed to boot. Messages
were Warning Could not open directory /lib/modules/2.6.15-23-386 No such
file or dir and message FATAL Could not open
/lib/modules/2.6.15-23-386/modules.dep.temp for writing: No such file or
dir also line [4294668:611000] request module:runaway loop modprobe
binfnt_000 repeated then 3 instances of same with  :612000 in  lieu
:611000 Second install failed with error message that GRUB failed to
install. will attempt to attach requested syslogs re this failure but
how ?? .

 Status: Unconfirmed
