Hie, For my system adding rootdelay=90 solve the problem after adding in the menu.lst in the kernel line rootdelay=90 have you update grub ? [Bug 294377] [NEW] intrepid ibex boot -busybox-initramfs-exit-boot continue and ok
Public bug reported: I was in multi-boot os microsoft xp(2 scsi disk) ,ubuntu gutsy( 2 scsi disk) , kubuntu hardy ( 1 ide disk) So i change kubuntu with an install intrepid ibex in live cd i 386 As i reboot after the grub menu as i choise ubuntu 8.10 i found on the busy-box and initramfs after a message Boot args (cat /proc/cmd line) check root delay = (did the system wait long enough ? ) check root = (did the system wait for the right device ? ) Missing Modules ( cat /proc/modules ; ls /dev ) ALERT /dev/disk/by-uuid/04a8de5F-acfc-469Cb0e8-0653aab62d78 does not exist. Dropping to a Shell !
