[Bug 1852183] Re: [X11] copy/paste (clipboard) with LibreOffice is broken in Ubuntu 19.10 & 20.04 (see comment 93)

2020-05-18 Thread Pablo San Martín
On Ubuntu 20.04, I had the issue of copy-paste working every other time,
specifically on LibreOffice apps (Writer, Calc and Draw), not in any
other apps (Gedit, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc.) or in the GNOME Shell.

However, disabling the Clipboard Indicator extension fixed this for me.

This bug also affects me on a machine with 14.04 and AMD graphics, with
the latest xfce desktop. Will the fix be backported to trusty?

[Bug 1316384] Re: After upgrade from Lubuntu 13.10 to 14.04, color customization is ignored

OK, I did it. I only needed to delete that package before (i.e. sudo
remove policykit-1-gnome).

GDebi would not let me install that package. It says it breaks
previously existing packages, namely 'policykit-1-gnome'

[Bug 1328065] [NEW] Gamepad not recognised in trusty

2014-06-09 Thread Pablo San Martín
Public bug reported:

I had been using a PS3 gamepad on pcsxr (1.9.92) for a while on Ubuntu
14.04, but last week realized it stopped working.

The controller is detected by lsusb on Terminal, but it does not appear
in pcsxr (or even in jstest-gtk).

I think this is a problem specific to trusty, since I tried to use the
controller in a laptop with precise (probably an earlier vesion of
pcsxr) and it worked correctly.

My lsusb output is:
