After trying very workarounds, I blacklisted video in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist adding: blacklist video after reboot all was ok (brightness now is good, max). So i understood this problem depends from "video" module. it's ACPI module? blacklisting this module brightness is now max, but Fn keys to change brightness don't function. When i power off Vista, i reboot in Ubuntu, after 4/5 sec, LCD brightness go down (very dim). I can go up with LCD brightness using Fn-F6 keys, but every time i reboot, it reset... is it the problem the light sensor maybe? Public bug reported: I have a laptop Fuijtsu Siemens D7820. When i go to suspend function, it's ok, but awaking it only shows a monitor changing colors (like a screensaver, but it isn't screensaver) and slowly it trasforms all black. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: screenlets After an update from Ubuntu 8.10 to Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04 (but also in a new installation), screenlets don't function.
