I have the same issue. I installed it on 20.10 but it didn't change
anything. there was not any problem on 20.04 version. It happened after
updating to 20.10.

[Bug 1299604] Re: evolution keeps asking for password

2015-03-01 Thread Parham
On my system (Ubuntu 14.04, Evolution 3.10.4, Seahorse 3.10.2) I did the
following

- uninstalled seahorse
- restarted laptop
- installed seahorse
- opened seahorse and in "Login" deleted all entries looking like "Evolution
Data Source xxx..x@my-laptopname"

- opened Evolution and was asked for password of each account
- closed seahorse and Evolution

after that the problem was solved!

Perhaps removal and reinstallation of seahorse is not necessary at all.
But I was just trying to do what @wmccarty described.

Try to delete in seahorse all "Evolution..." entries and then start
Evolution to see if the problems resolves (saves you few minutes). I
have the feeling that seahorse is not responsible for this error.

I had this same issue. I had at some point added Persian keyboard to my
system. after going to "Language Support" -> "Install / Remove
Languages..." and selecting "Persian" to install, the problem resolved.
I don't remember whether I had added Persian keyboard during
installation of Ubuntu or later on (I installed my system few days ago).

To be honest ,this adapter is approximately 10 years old and support stopped

[Bug 626339] [NEW] "Category Selection" combo box not accessible with the orca screen reader

2010-08-29 Thread Parham Doustdar
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: tasque

The list of categories at the main view, the one by which you can choose
which categories are displayed in the list of tasks, is not accessible
with the Orca screen reader. Orca just announces "category selection"
when you press space on the combo box and arrow up and down. This
appears not to be a normal combo box, and stops blind users from
filtering tasks by category.

I can't send mails using Hotmail; I can only read them. There is no sound when
watching videos on YouTube or FaceBook. I am using Ubuntu version 8.04 and
Firefox. There is no problem with my music or video players. My keyboard has
also just changed configuration.

[Bug 298258] [NEW] There is no sound when playing videos through Firefox-3.0 under Ubuntu v8.04

2008-11-14 Thread Nick Parham
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

I actually have Firefox v3.0.3 according to the synaptic package manager - even
though the chooser says that this does not exist for Ubuntu.
I have seen other comments about videos having no sound when played through
Firefox and that the Adobe Flash plugin might be at fault. However, I have not
seen any clear explanation of how to fix this problem.
Could someone please tell me what to do to correct this bug?
