[Bug 990214] Re: Wrong keyboard layout by graphical login

2015-11-04 Thread Pascollin
Xubuntu 15.10 fresh install, same problem. Lightdm-gtk-greeter still
always forces 'en' layout on USB keyboard (instead of 'fr' required
layout).

When using my laptop internal keyboard, 'fr' layout is correctly
applied. But USB attached keyboard always apply 'en' layout.

[Bug 883550] Re: LCD brightness NOT restored upon returning from screen lock in GNOME shell

2011-11-13 Thread Pascollin
Workaround :
1- Install xbacklight (sudo apt-get install xbacklight)
2- Disable password after screensaver has locked screen (in system settings /
screen)
3- Create a keystroke shortcut to run xbacklight -set 100 (in system settings
/ keyboard /shortcut)
Now, when screen brightness is None, use the keystroke to switch the light on

[Bug 376825] Re: https_proxy issue when proxy server requires authentication

2010-09-27 Thread Pascollin
Using Ubuntu 10.04 behind a proxy which requires authentication, I'm
affected by this bug. Checkgmail seems to use password as user name :
Error 500 Can't connect to www.google.com:443 (Bad service
'my_passw...@my_company_proxy)

I use checkgmail at home with the same account, without proxy, and it's
work fine.
