This bug is still present in Maverick 10.10. All it takes is just to do a recompile with libid3-3.8.3-dev. [Bug 544692] Re: Sleep button action does the wrong thing
I have a Dell Vostro 1510 laptop and have the same issue. Pressing the sleep button (Fn+F1) hibernates rather than sleeps. I am running a freshly installed 10.10.
