[Bug 1921514] Re: VPNaaS strongSwan driver does not reload secrets

2021-03-29 Thread Patryk Jakuszew
Hi! I think that patching neutron-vpnaas should be enough - I can see it
in charon logs that "ipsec rereadsecrets" command is indeed called when
a new connection is configured. The unit tests that you mentioned in
review discussion probably will be limited to neutron-vpnaas repo too.

[Bug 1650767] Re: kubuntu zesty 17.0.4.1 installation fails (2016-12-16 image)

2017-01-02 Thread Patryk Jankun
OK, I got rid of the partman bug by rechecking GPT partitions for
errors, here is what I found:

If you start the installation from a live USB image - I dd'ed mine, but
the USB writer does the same and produces a bad GPT table - and this
seems to crash partman after manual partition selection.

second bug I encountered is within keyboard setup, as seen below:

Exception caught in process_line:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/plugins/ubi-console-setup.py", line 348, in
set_keyboard
ly = keyboard_names.layout_id(lang, misc.utf8(layout))
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/keyboard_names.py", line 142, in layout_id
return kn.layout_id(lang, value)
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/keyboard_names.py", line 90, in layout_id
return self._layout_by_human[value]
KeyError: 'Polish'

During handling of the above exception, another exception occurred:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/filteredcommand.py", line 145, in
process_line
return self.dbfilter.process_line()
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/debconffilter.py", line 287, in process_line
if not input_widgets[0].run(priority, question):
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/plugins/ubi-console-setup.py", line 502, in run
self.ui.set_keyboard(misc.utf8(self.db.get(question)))
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/plugin.py", line 48, in wrapper
return target(self, *args, **kwargs)
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/plugins/ubi-console-setup.py", line 350, in
set_keyboard
ly = keyboard_names.layout_id('C', misc.utf8(layout))
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/keyboard_names.py", line 142, in layout_id
return kn.layout_id(lang, value)
  File "/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/keyboard_names.py", line 90, in layout_id
return self._layout_by_human[value]
KeyError: 'Polish'

Setting "Polish" was automatically selected based on my IP location (I
guess, since it was auto-selected), and this keyboard/location auto-
setting is another problem.

I'm not a dev and my python is ~rusty at least, but I share my findings
here. Let me know if that's helpful or not.

after looking into this a bit deeper, partman log look like this:

/bin/partman: ***

this line shows up after each frequent crash/restart just before the the
python script calls and crashes with buttons too many args message. Not
very informative output o.O

2017-01-02 Thread Patryk Jankun
This crash seems to be generated by partman, at least in my case, after
commenting out a button argument in
"/usr/lib/ubiquity/ubiquity/frontend/kde_ui.py", around line 857 in the
function call I get 2 buttons and tihs message instead ;)

ubi-partman failed with exit code 10. Further information may be found
in /var/log/syslog. Do you want to try running this step again before
continuing? If you do not, your installation may fail entirely or may be
broken.

I still have this issue. First run of gparted after system reboot is
fine, but it hangs after applying any action. Is there someone working
on this? I could provide required debug/strace/ltrace ?

[Bug 1376587] Re: wine and fglrx packages are mutually exclusive

2015-01-10 Thread Patryk
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1129409 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1129409

I have followed steps provided by perterje22 and I have working drivers
installed

dpkg -l | grep -i fglrx
ii  fglrx 2:14.501-0ubuntu1
 amd64Video driver for the AMD graphics
accelerators
ii  fglrx-amdcccle2:14.501-0ubuntu1
 amd64Catalyst Control Center for the
AMD graphics accelerators
ii  fglrx-core2:14.501-0ubuntu1.1
 amd64Minimal video driver for the AMD
graphics accelerators
ii  fglrx-dev 2:14.501-0ubuntu1
 amd64Video driver for the AMD graphics
accelerators (devel files)

But I cannot launch AMD control center. Any clues? I mean only
administrative app is visible in unity and gksu password windows pops up
but nothing happens after that.

[Bug 1366332] [NEW] Apt-get reports NO_PUBKEY gpg error for keys that are present in trusted.gpg

2014-09-06 Thread Patryk
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 14.04
apt 1.0.1ubuntu2.1

'apt-get update' has started showing several warnings like the
following, even though the keys are present:

sudo apt-key clean didn't help

The only ultimate solution was to remove all the keys from
/etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d and run

sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys KEY

for each key that was missing.

v3.16-rc1-utopic and v3.16-rc2-utopic with blueman works all fine. In
the default bluetooth manager I can't receive files (from phone to
computer). Sometimes I must restart computer because bluetooth will not
turn on.

No, in 3.13.0-29-generic blueman doesn't detect devices. I think that

[Bug 1103466] [NEW] Setting 'label-guide with python bindings in gtop does not set fix-width indicator

2013-01-23 Thread Patryk
Public bug reported:

When using
`self.guide = 999.99 MiB/s↓ 999.99 MiB/s↑;
self.ind.set_property('label-guide', self.guide)`

Using https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/quantal/amd64/python-
gtop/2.32.0+dfsg-1 with Ubuntu 12.10 the script will not set the
indicator as fixed-width - the text will jiggle on contents change.

Here you can find the used code :

[Bug 938459] [NEW] FFe: Sync kadu 0.11.0-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

2012-02-21 Thread Patryk Cisek
Public bug reported:

Please sync kadu 0.11.0-1 (universe) from Debian testing (main)

Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
No changes needed.

Explanation of FeatureFreeze exception:
Kadu version currently in Ubuntu Precise (0.10.0-1) does not build cleanly
due to build dependency problem (please see Bug 935207 on Launchpad). The
same problem occurs in Kadu 0.11.0-1, currently in Debian Testing. Because of
the issue, I, Kadu's maintainer in Debian, fixed the problem and uploaded
corrected version (0.11.0-2) to Debian Unstable. It builds cleanly now and is
ready to be synced into Ubuntu Precise. Without that, Kadu will probably
disappear in 12.04.

Re: [Bug 935207] Re: kadu version 0.10.1-1 FTBFS on i386 in precise

2012-02-20 Thread Patryk Cisek
Hi,

I'm a maintainer if this package in Debian. 0.11.0-1 has been uploaded into
unstable and is already in testing:
http://packages.qa.debian.org/k/kadu.html

I'm not sure about the Ubuntu's release schedule, but (if possible) please
consider including it in 12.04.

 I would have filed for an FFe, but the Debian package failed to build
 the same way. If you want to fix this bug in Debian, feel free to run
 requestsync -e (available in ubuntu-dev-tools in Debian) once the fix is
 uploaded with an explanation why this is needed. I'll be happy to
 process it once the Ubuntu release team gives their approval.
