[Bug 1372202] Re: imread fails
Thanks for your help! Unfortunately this doesn't seem to be what's affecting me. The problem is certainly an 8bit vs 16 bit problem, but not as a result of a PPA: in Ubuntu 15.04 the only version of libmagickcore-6 available is a 16-bit version. I've even tried reinstalling everything with "magick" or "octave" in the name; all the downloads were from the official Ubuntu repository, but the problem persists. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1372202 Title: imread fails To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/octave/+bug/1372202/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1372202] Re: imread fails
I'm also seeing this bug. I'm running Ubuntu 15.04 and Octave was installed entirely from the official Ubuntu repository. Nothing is marked as broken in aptitude. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-python Was deleting unnecessary packages immediately after an upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic on a machine that previously ran Intrepid. I have no further useful information - hopefully apport will attach some. [Bug 92436] Re: Password is required twice after laptop sleep
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 43169 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/43169 This bug is definitely not a duplicate of bug #43169, whatever it is; that marking is in error. This behaviour is irritating if you use hibernate and there's a very simple fix - it would be nice to see the fix go into Gutsy. gnome- screensaver can now very straightforwardly be configured via PAM to pass your passphrase on to gnome-keyring, so that typing the passphrase once serves for both jobs. See: http://live.gnome.org/GnomeKeyring/Pam Whether or not you decide this fix is appropriate though, please fix the duplicate status on this bug - thanks! -- Password is required twice after laptop sleep https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/92436 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
