[Bug 662978] [NEW] Feature Request: Make "Place Windows" plugin functionality available through the window title context menu

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 620331 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/620331 In my opinion this was mistakingly marked as duplicate, since I am not complaining about extra icon next to indicator, I am requesting a gnome- settings-daemon key and the GUI option to turn indicator off, with or without the icon. -- Feature Request: Please add a key to turn off new keyboard indicator in Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 661831] [NEW] Feature Request: Please add a key to turn off new keyboard indicator in Ubuntu
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-settings-daemon In 9.10 there have been a way to painlessly turn off keyboard indicator by something like that: gconftool-2 -s /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/general/disable_indicator -t bool true Now, there is a way, but it turns off correct layout switching altogether with an applet: gconftool-2 --type boolean --set /apps/gnome_settings_daemon/plugins/keyboard/active false This is good when Ubuntu add something new and shiny to Gnome, but why was it necessary to replace the normal Gnome applet with the new and incomplete one? As far as I am acknowledged, only way to do it now is to install old version of gnome-settings-daemon and lock it's version, am I correct? Not necessary no add, it would be nice to see a GUI option to turn that thing off, since many use automatic keyboard layout switchers like Gxneur, which have a nice layout indicator of their own. ** Affects: gnome-settings-daemon (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Feature Request: Please add a key to turn off new keyboard indicator in Ubuntu https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/661831 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 659139] [NEW] Software Center uses strange names for third party repositories
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: software-center In the list of third party repositories names read: «JDownloader PPA», «PPA for Banshee Team», «elementarydesktop», «nautilus-elementary» and so forth. Where did it get those names from? I already have all that repositories named correctly and nicely in the software sources: «JDownloader», «Banshee», «Elementary Desktop», «Elementary Nautilus», etc. Screenshot is attached.
