2010-09-16 Thread PaulK1966
I am getting the same error. I set it up using unetbootin-linux-471
from a Ubuntu 10.04 Desktop x86 install.

[Bug 549289] Re: [Conexant CX20582 (Pebble)] Playback problem - sound from speakers when headphones plugged in, or both in headphones and speakers

2010-05-17 Thread PaulK1966
I noticed the problem has returned. I double checked and the options
snd-hda-intel model="olpc-xo-1_5" line is still in my /etc/modprobe.d
/alsa-base.conf file but when I un-muted my sound it came out the
speakers only again whether or not the headphones were plugged in.
Nothing comes out of headphones. I will reboot and see if it works or
not...

[Bug 549289] Re: [Conexant CX20582 (Pebble)] Playback problem - sound from speakers when headphones plugged in, or both in headphones and speakers

2010-05-03 Thread PaulK1966
This worked for me too on an AMD based Thinkpad Edge running ubuntu
10.04 x64. I didn't have a modprobe.conf and alsa-base.conf was in
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf

ThinkPad T60 w/4 gig of ram but only 3 is showing.

[Bug 547166] Re: Screen goes black when unattended and does not return

2010-04-30 Thread PaulK1966
I believe this is affecting me too. When the screen saver comes on and
has been on for a while (overnight in this case) mouse movements and
keyboard do not bring up unlock screen. I do see mouse move on screen.
I was able to SSH in and killall gnome-screensaver and then I could get
back in.

gnome-screensaver then restarted and top showed 2 processes both with
98-99% of cup. Had to reboot.

[Bug 437808] Re: [Karmic][regression] Headphone does not work, build in speakers do

2010-03-18 Thread PaulK1966
I am also having this problem in lucid. Also while ALSA plug-in
[firefox-bin] works out speakers skype has no sound at all. Plugging in
headphones has no effect.

[Bug 451091] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in exit()

2009-10-26 Thread PaulK1966
is there another bug we can follow to see if/when this is fixed? Saying
it has been reported w/o referencing the existing bug doesn't help much.
I am new to launchpad so maybe I am just missing it...

Thanks PaulK
