Not only does this happen when we we Transmission, but everytime Ubuntu writes something on the hard drive ! Firefox downloads, apt-get install, youtube buffering... Everything ! Something MUST be done. I'm also affected with this bug, every time I use Transmission to download on my NTFS partition, CPU usage goes 100%...
