[Bug 31746] Re: Impossible to use multiple profiles at the same time
Same here. (That showed me to search launchpad before google.) -- Impossible to use multiple profiles at the same time https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/31746 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 76876] Re: /dev/dsp busy, but no program using it
google brought me here, but it may or may not be related. I found that it was not dsp that was occupied, but that firefox (very likely the flash plugin) was blocking /dev/sound/pcm[something]. -- /dev/dsp busy, but no program using it https://launchpad.net/bugs/76876 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 61652] (Edgy) NetworkManager gets confused if suspend and wakeup swap network interface names
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: network-manager This probably belongs somewhere else, but I am unsure of where. This is my very first bug report, so I apologize if I make any mistake in protocol. I imagine suspending (sleeping) should not swap network interface names, in which case this belongs to whatever system deals with it. In any event, NetworkManager is unable to deal with it, although KNetworkManager might be the guilty party. I have not enough knowledge of HAL+Dbus to figure it out. By confused, I mean that the previous eth1, now called eth0 (ipw2200 driver, by the way), is considered wired and fails to associate with the AP ** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- (Edgy) NetworkManager gets confused if suspend and wakeup swap network interface names https://launchpad.net/bugs/61652 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 61652] Re: (Edgy) NetworkManager gets confused if suspend and wakeup swap network interface names
Indeed it is. This should probably be closed. The temporary solution presented there works as well. Sorry for a bad first try :) -- (Edgy) NetworkManager gets confused if suspend and wakeup swap network interface names https://launchpad.net/bugs/61652 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 57501] Re: After resume, thinks my wireless network is wired
Same here, 2 year old Asus M6Ne. I had filed a bug on network manager, https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/61652 , but this sounds like a more appropriate place. -- After resume, thinks my wireless network is wired https://launchpad.net/bugs/57501 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 57501] Re: After resume, thinks my wireless network is wired
Forgot to say... restarting Network Manager does not solve it, removing and reinserting the network modules does. (tg3 and ipw2200 modules, in my case.) The exact effect is eth0 and eth1 getting switched at resume, but not always, which indeed suggests some race condition. -- After resume, thinks my wireless network is wired https://launchpad.net/bugs/57501 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
