[Bug 204209] [NEW] no soundcard recognition

2008-03-20 Thread Peer Wüschner
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: linux-backports-modules-hardy-386

I have to go back to an earlier kernel to get my sound back, where it
works great even in skype and with recording, which was a major problem
in gutsy. the 386 kernel doesnt find my soundcard obviously and just
gives pulse audio in selection even after alsa update today which I
hoped would fix the problem.

[Bug 203860] [NEW] Hardy Jamendo plugin in Rhythmbox no working

2008-03-19 Thread Peer Wüschner
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Jamendo plugin in rhythmbox was working fine after bugfix in feisty and
gutsy. But now no more, though it is said to be fixed in hardy by
itself. Can't browse jamendo and even the fix by hand brought no relief
to me.

konsole gives:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ rhythmbox

(rhythmbox:7164): Rhythmbox-WARNING **: Could not open device /dev/radio0
Rhythmbox: could not connect to socket
Rhythmbox: No such file or directory

but rhythmbox and radio works fine

Strange.
