[Bug 1281256] [NEW] Shutdown / Restart dialogue must correspond indicator selection

2014-02-17 Thread Pekorius Nedas
Public bug reported:

When user selects reboot from top left power indicator confirmation dialogue
appears but Shut down is always highlighted and default option. In my opinion
when user selects reboot the reboot option must be highlighted so it would be
much easier to confirm selection by pressing Enter key that to move mouse to
select not Shut down but Restart and clicking on It
This would be much better user experience and could save some time

[Bug 1199746] Re: Update xserver-xorg-video-intel to 2.21.11^w.12^w.13

2013-08-22 Thread Pekorius Nedas
Changelog

+Release 2.21.15 (2013-08-21)
+
+Some build fixes for the BSDs and alternate compiler, and conflicting
+configure options and a critcial fix for some PRIME setups.
+
+ * Don't fail to configure if DRI1 is not available and the user asks
+ for both DRI and KMS-only
+   [Regression from 2.21.14]
+
+ * Lots of miscellaneous fixes for older gcc, other compilers and BSD.
+
+ * Initial framework support for hosted X.
+
+ * Improve transition from fbcon to X with multiple outputs and extended
+   desktops.
+
+ * Ensure the framebuffer exists before checking it against the CRTC
+   constraints.
+   https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg-server/+bug/121234
+   [Regression from 2.21.10]
+
+ * Add RGB overlay support for Ironlake and later.
+
+ * Don't release the overlay buffer too early, i.e. before the client
+   disables the Xv image.
+
+ * Tweak the ring switching logic to reduce use of semaphores on
+ Sandybridge and later - a delicate balancing act between trying to
+ use the faster engine for the task and preventing concurrent use of
+   multiple rings.

[Bug 1204034] [NEW] Update to 1.2.6

2013-07-23 Thread Pekorius Nedas
Public bug reported:

Update usb-modeswitch to 1.2.6
PTS changelog:
usb-modeswitch (1.2.6+repack0-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * New 1.2.6 upstream release
- Several changes to streamline compiling as part of larger
  projects, mostly in Makefile;
- fix compiler warnings appearing in certain build environments;
- new Quanta procedure for Quanta 1K3 LTE;
- fix for error with cascaded hubs in dispatcher script.

  * Repack the upstream tarball:
- Drop the code copy of jimtcl.

  * Replace 04_cope_with_repack patch by one to to use the
package-provided jimsh and libjim.
  * Bump usb-modeswitch-data depends to 20130607.

usb-modeswitch (1.2.5+repack0-1) experimental; urgency=low

  * New 1.2.5 upstream release
- Initial support for MBIM devices, use with data package >= 20121109;
- checking for these is the automatic default, new parameter
  NoMBIMCheck prevents the check per device in case of problems; new
  global option to set "delay_use" of usb-storage (as low values may
  prevent mode-switching);
- fix for handling multi-configuration devices (thanks to Bjørn Mork
  for advice).

  * Repack the upstream tarball:
- Drop the code copy of jimtcl.

  * Bump usb-modeswitch-data depends to 20121109.
  * Bump Standards-Version to 3.9.4 and debhelper B-D to 9 without
changes needed.

usb-modeswitch (1.2.4+repack0-1) experimental; urgency=low

  * New 1.2.4 upstream release
- Additional interface checks to prevent sending UFI commands to
  non-storage interfaces (prompted by more ambiguous device IDs
  popping up);
- Change in SierraMode for handling newer devices which caused an
  error abort before;
- Makefile fix for parallelized make runs.

  * Repack the upstream tarball:
- Drop the code copy of jimtcl.

  * Drop patch to disable logging as was (temporarily) enabled in 1.2.3.
  * Refresh patches.

[Bug 1191959] Re: Update to latest 1.14 automake

2013-06-25 Thread Pekorius Nedas
** Summary changed:

- Update to latest 1.13.4 automake
+ Update to latest 1.14 automake

** Description changed:

- This is a bug-fixing release, that remedies to a minor (and almost
- certainly basically harmless) regression introduced in the previous
- 1.13.3 micro release:
+ This release comes with two important changes:

-When two or more user-defined suffix rules are present in a single
-Makefile.am, automake 1.13.3 would needlessly include definition
-of some make variables related to C compilation in the generated
-Makefile.in (this is bug#14560, reported by Ralf Corsepius).
-This is fixed in automake 1.13.4.
+ 1. It introduces a new feature aimed at making the implementation
+ of non-recursive build systems more convenient and manageable
+ (thanks to the new support for the '%reldir%' and '%canon_reldir%'
+  automake-time substitutions).

- Apart from few minor testsuite enhancements, the fix for the bug
- reported above is only relevant change between Automake 1.13.3
- and Automake 1.13.4, so we omit the usual detailed excerpt from
- NEWS.
+ 2. It improves the handling of C compiles not supporting the conjunct
+ use of the '-c' and '-o' options (unfortunately, this improvement
+ comes with a couple of minor backward-incompatibilities, described
+ in detail in the NEWS section below). Among th other things, this
+ means that you no longer need to explicitly call the AM_PROG_CC_C_O
+ macro yourself in configure.ac (pre-existing invocation of this
+ macro are of course still accepted and correctly working, for the
+  sake of backward-compatibility).

- Download the new release here:
+ The 1.14 release also introduces new (non-fatal) runtime warnings to
+ simplify the transition to Automake 2.0. You are free to ignore such
+ warnings for now, but should address them before the transition to
+ Automake 2.0 (whose ETA is about one year from now, maybe more, so no
+ need to hurry yet).
