[Bug 1072406] Re: /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-calendar-factory consume 99% cpu

2012-11-09 Thread Peter Jenkins
I see the same thing. I'm using 12.10 with XFCE and this problem started
at boot today. I applied plenty of patches yesterday, but I'm not sure
of the cause.

Top output:

 1833 lightdm   20   0  661m  11m 7244 R  99.6  0.1  15:20.80 evolution-
calen

$ ps -ef | grep evolu
lightdm   1833 1 98 10:16 ?00:15:30
/usr/lib/evolution/evolution-calendar-factory

Workaround: ;-)

sudo killall -9 evolution-calendar-factory

[Bug 1048805] Re: xfrun4 launches very slowly

2012-11-05 Thread Peter Jenkins
Workaround works. :-)

For me this problem started when I updated Ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. I was
already using xfce 4.10 from the semi-official PPA, so I'm guessing
something broke during the update.

[Bug 742093] Re: Flash fullscreen not working

2011-05-06 Thread Peter Jenkins
I also see this in gnome with 11.04 using the latest fglrx driver
(11.4).

If I run firefox from the command line, go to youtube and then click the
full screen icon I get this output:

*** NSPlugin Viewer *** WARNING: unhandled variable 18 () in
NPN_GetValue()
The program 'npviewer.bin' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.
  (Details: serial 1119 error_code 1 request_code 159 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

Chrome does the same thing with it's built in flash so I'd guess it's an
X server thing.
