[Bug 318306] Re: package thunderbird-locale-fi None [modified: /var/lib/dpkg/info/thunderbird-locale-fi.list] failed to install/upgrade: unable to stat `./usr/lib/thunderbird/extensions/langpack...@th

2018-06-26 Thread Petri Koistinen
Hi,

Thanks for quick reply back under 10 years, I really appreciate it.

Unfortunately I don’t currently have Ubuntu 8.10 at hand and I’m unable
to verify this.

I don’t think this is a problem anymore for me and this ticket can be
closed.

Best regards,
Petri

[Bug 707854] [NEW] encrypted root filesystem with btrfs uses very much CPU

2011-01-26 Thread Petri Koistinen
Public bug reported:

I have installed Ubuntu 10.10 so that it has encrypted root filesystem
(LVM) with btrfs using alternate installation CD. It seems that btrfs is
eating up all the CPU power. Load average is constantly over 1.0. Is
this know problem with btrfs?

I think this fits just fine to this definition:

* Bugs which do not fit under above categories, but (1) have an
obviously safe patch and (2) affect an application rather than critical
infrastructure packages (like X.org or the kernel).

What does this "Declined for Hardy by Thierry Carrez" means, what is
the reasoning behind declining this update to hardy (8.04 LTS) release?

[Bug 384024] Re: finnish passwd(1) refers to obsolete URL

Actually I think whole translation is bad. For example finnish
translation of passwd doesn't document switches available to passwd at
all. Just discard this badly translated man page alltogether.
