[Bug 484111] [NEW] Display issue when no task is active
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hamster-applet If there is no active task selected in the hamster-applet its window is very broad. This is due to the long text below the task selection combo box (at least in the german translation). This text should be wrapped. This is no show blocker, but is still annoying :-) ** Affects: hamster-applet (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Display issue when no task is active https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/484111 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 277634] Re: Intel Pro/Wireless 4965 AG stops transferring data within a few minutes
After a little browsing I recognized that my issue might (also) be related to this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/200509 (Microcode SW error) So, if installing the backport module fixes this issue for the others experiencing the problem (without having the Microcode SW error), my current problem might not be related to this bug, but to the #200509 bug. In this case, sorry for spamming :) -- Intel Pro/Wireless 4965 AG stops transferring data within a few minutes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/277634 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 277634] Re: Intel Pro/Wireless 4965 AG stops transferring data within a few minutes
Unfortunately the backport modules didn't resolve this issue on my machine (Dell XPS M1530 with Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN). I have jaunty with Kernel 2.6.28-15-generic #49-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 18 19:25:34 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux. I also installed latest upstream compat-wireless stack but the issue remains. I can connect to wifi-networks but after some time the connection gets lost. Here is the part in the kern.log when the connection gets lost: [ 3225.583607] wlan0: RX ReassocResp from 880098ca404e (capab=0x421 status=0 aid=16) [ 3225.583609] wlan0: associated [ 3248.293306] wlan0: beacon loss from AP 88011d0f6ac0 - sending probe request [ 3361.330590] iwlagn :0b:00.0: Microcode SW error detected. [Bug 145318] Re: evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts"
Thanks for your response. Isn't the trace I've attached in my post from 2007-09-26 what you are searching for? I got this trace by following the how-to at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace (for -> evolution). Should I do something else to create the backtrace? Thanks! -- evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 145318] Re: evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts"
I know, as I mentioned in my last post, evolution isn't responding anymore (it freezes) after importing the appointment directly. When I save the file and import it from file it works without a problem. I also tried to import an ics mail without german "umlauts" with the same negative result. The case title I chose is maybe not right anymore. Maybe it would be better to rename this case into something like this: evolution freezes after "direct" vcs/ics import -- evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 145318] Re: evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts"
Thanks for your fast response. Attached you will find the backtrace. The window gets dark after pressing the import button (program isn't responding). After I while I closed the window to get back to the gdb command line. I hope this is helpful. If you need any further information please tell me. ** Attachment added: "gdb-evolution.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/9517752/gdb-evolution.txt -- evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145318 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 145318] evolution crashes on vcs/ics import with "umlauts"
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution This is my first bug report here, so please be tolerant. Thank you! Whenever I want to import an appointment invitation (with ics file attached) received via mail and generated from Sun ONE Calendar evolution crashes. Saving the ics-file to disk and importing it as .ics is also causing evolution to crash. Importing it from disk as .vcf works perfectly.
