[Bug 75494] Include mozilla sunbird on Feisty repositories

2006-12-12 Thread Pochu
Public bug reported:

Debian has sunbird on the repositories, why Ubuntu don't have it? The
last version is 0.3, and Debian has 0.2.99+0.3alpha1-3, so a sync
shouldn't be the best option.

Also, as Feisty is in development, maybe you should include 0.5-a1,
because the 0.5 final is due to be released on January 2007.

Pochu

[Bug 73472] The battery lifetime isn't functioning well

2006-11-27 Thread Pochu
Public bug reported:

Hi.

I'm using Feisty Fawn up-to-date.
I have an Acer Aspire 1642wlmi laptop.

In the system tray, I have the gnome-power-manager, and I have added the
battery charge monitor applet to the gnome panel.

My problem is that both of them don't display correctly the battery
lifetime. They say my battery is 100% charge when it is, and that it is
connected to the power. But when I disconnect the laptop from the power,
and the battery isn't charged 100%, the gnome-power-manager and the
battery charge monitor says it is 100%, or 67%, or 33%, or critical. And
sometimes my laptop hibernates because the battery is critical, and it
isn't!

However, the acpi command works fine, so I don't know where is the problem:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ acpi -basc
 Battery 1: discharging, 81%, 01:30:20 remaining
  AC Adapter 1: off-line

If seen this tutorial to fix this
http://ubuntuforums.org/showpost.php?p=604504postcount=72
but I would like this bug to be solved on Ubuntu, and not only on my laptop.

Please let me know if I can help with something else.

Regards
Pochu

[Bug 72957] Re: Grub says I have Debian instead of Ubuntu

2006-11-25 Thread Pochu
You were right!
/sbin/update-grub belongs to grub-gfxboot

So I've installed grub and uninstalled grub-gfxboot (because
incompatibility), rebooted and know grub says I have Ubuntu!

And know the question is: why had I got grub-gfxboot instead of grub?
I've upgrade to feisty from a edgy, and some users seems to have the
same problem:

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=305123

Maybe we should depend ubuntu-something on grub. (It's an idea)
