Hello, I'm affected by this bug too. I'm using mumble 1.2.2-4 inside an Ubuntu 10.10 running inside a Virtual Box 3.2.6_OSE r63112. Workaround for me is to 'mess around' in the devices menu and randomly change from default to whatever I want. Exactly the same symptoms here, issue appeared after patching kernel to 2.6.31.20. Even worst, during file copy (huge amount of big files) I got I/O errors that I beleive are linked to the freeze (well at least I hope, never had this before).
