[Bug 1838796] Re: TPM event log does not contain events measured after ExitBootServices
Hi Chris, I repeated the experiment with the above Kernel, but PCR#7 still doesn't match. I am using a custom tool to parse binary_bios_measurements. Attaching the binary_bios_measurements binary and parsed XML for your reference. Can you please try to parse the binary using your tool and check if the values in tpm2_pcrread.out file match? According to the tool I am using, PCR5 matches but not PCR7. Something to note is that I have a custom key in MOK (so did Vinay), moreover MokList gets extended in PCR7 (at least in the logs). Can this the reason of discrepancies? -Prashant ** Attachment added: "1838796.zip" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1838796/+attachment/5314400/+files/1838796.zip -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1838796 Title: TPM event log does not contain events measured after ExitBootServices To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1838796/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1852860] Re: Display settings not saved across sessions
Updating, I have narrowed down the bug further. So the settings are not persisted when fractional scaling is used. If i enable fractional scaling and then change the scaling, display settings are not persisted across sessions. If i simply enable fractional scaling, but dont change the scaling (leaving it at 100%), but change other display settings, like location of monitors, they are indeed persisted. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1852860 Title: Display settings not saved across sessions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1852860/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1735040] [NEW] Constant scanning for access points makes bluetooth audio (a2dp) unusable; setting bssid fixes this
Public bug reported: While using Wi-Fi and Bluetooth A2DP together there was stuttering on my headset. I noticed that the interruptions were happening at constant intervals and wondered if it was on account of Network Manager scanning for access points. Forcing NM to stick to my local AP by using its BSSID seems to have eliminated the interference/stuttering almost completely. This is with the iwlwifi driver, the chip is the Intel Wireless 3160. It could be that the driver is buggy too but since tweaking the NM configuration appears to fix it, perhaps something could be done there. [Bug 1729886] Re: Nautilus takes longer than usual to empty trash
Update on above: Tried emptying trash again in Nautilus after a few days and this time it went off without a hitch. I'm starting to think that it was probably Tracker doing its initial index run (I'd enabled it after doing a fresh install) that caused the issue. Please feel free to close this one. [Bug 1730903] [NEW] Firefox has screen tearing on Intel Graphics with default setting
Public bug reported: Firefox has choppy scrolling/tearing on pretty much any web page with the default settings on Intel Graphics. Since the modesetting driver uses OpenGL, you have to force enable layers.acceleration (layers.acceleration.force-enabled) in about:config to remedy this. The other thing that works is to enable the Intel DDX driver with TearFree. This is on a fresh Ubuntu 17.10 install in the Xorg session but the same would apply to Wayland as well as Xwayland also uses the modesetting driver. [Bug 1729886] [NEW] Nautilus takes longer than usual to empty trash
Public bug reported: Nautilus usually empties trash in a jiffy on vanilla gnome 3.26 (both on Ubuntu Artful and on other distros). However, in the Ubuntu session it takes a fair bit of time (processing...). My best guess is it is something to do with the Ubuntu Dock indicator that mirrors Nautilus' own progress update. [Bug 1422143] Re: No wifi connection after suspend with systemd due to missing "wpa_cli suspend"
I'm facing the same bug while running 16.04 on a Dell Vostro 3558 (iwlwifi). [Bug 1525060] [NEW] wanted to upgrade ubuntu 14.04 to 14.10
Public bug reported: I see that currently, ubuntu support is ON for versions 12.04 LTS, 14.04 LTS and 15.04 and 15.10. I have 14.04 (probably 14.04.3) installed on my 32-bit dell laptop. I want to try the non-long-term-support versions between 14.04 and the forthcoming 16.04 LTS versions. I searched on internet if it is possible to directly upgrade from 14.04 to 15.04 or 15.10, but it says that I have to go step by step, that is, upgrade in the sequence: 14.04 --> 14.10 --> 15.04 --> 15.10 or, optionally, to only consider upgrade to next long-term version 16.04 I want to suggest that, even if the long-term support version has updates later to the discontinuation of support of the next non-LTS version, the upgradation should be possible.
