[Bug 777292] Re: Gedit not single instance when started from unity

2011-09-04 Thread Premasagar Rose
I agree with Matt Moen about bumping up the priority. For me, it creates
a very confusing, frustrating workflow when using Ubuntu. I use Gedit
probably more than any other application, and trying to edit files in
one place is impossible when the terminal opens files in one Gedit
instance, Nautilus opens them in another, and Startup Applications opens
them in yet another.

Re: [Bug 417842] Re: WARNING: at /build/buildd/linux-2.6.31/kernel/power/suspend_test.c:52 suspend_test_finish+0x7c/0x80()

2009-10-30 Thread Premasagar Rose
I also get this pretty consistently on resume, with Dell XPS M1710 and
Ubuntu 9.10 standard.

It sometimes takes up to 30 seconds to resume. Occasionally, when I open the
laptop lid to resume, the login screen quickly flashes, and then it goes to
sleep again; when I then press the power button, it successfully resumes.

[Bug 446306] Re: Unknown crash

2009-10-12 Thread Premasagar Rose
Thanks, Leann.
The system has been resuming from Suspend pretty much OK, although a couple of
time is took something like 30 seconds or more.

I'll feedback more if I get this repeatedly.
