[Bug 150471] Re: [Gutsy] high processor activity after logging out and then logging in again
I applied the updates for nautilus, nautilus-data and libnautilus- exension1 from gutsy-proposed (release 7.1). Unfortunately, no change; nautilus runs, and whenever I quit, it crashes and the process uses a high amount of the processor. Reproducing it is quite easy: open a terminal, run "sudo nautilus", and close. The processor will be highly solicited. The only way to have back its ressources, is to kill the process. I think it only go through this behaviour once, afterwhat it works normally. However, the close reports always a "segmentation fault (core dumped)" into the terminal. I confirm issues reported here, and would also be able to use xmame-x with kxmame, since xmame-sdl crash my system. -- kxmame package wrongly conflicts with xmame-x https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/113699 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 73619] Re: Multimedia keys partially working
I finally found a workaround. One has to install keytouch AND plug BOTH mouse and keyboard in PS/2 ports. In consequence, this bug is related to the keyboard USB port management. -- Multimedia keys partially working https://launchpad.net/bugs/73619 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 44169] Re: no multimedia keys when using evdev with mouse

[Bug 77332] /dev/video0 and /dev/video1 not rememberded
Public bug reported: I have two video devices. The first is a TV card supported by the bttv driver and the second is a logitech webcam (pwc drivers). The TV card usually comes up as /dev/video1 and the webcam as /dev/video0. But some times these mount points are swapped. The configuration files of video applications like tvtime or camorama must be edited to work. Running Ubuntu 6.10, but witnessed this behavior with Ubuntu 6.06 as well. The TV card is miroVideo PCTV, and webcam a Logitech Quickcam 4000. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed ** Tags added: bttv quickcam swap tvcard webcam ** Description changed: I have two video devices. [Bug 73619] Multimedia keys partially working
Public bug reported: I have a Logitech MX 3000 wireless keyboard/mouse bundle. I have set keyboard model to "Logitech Cordless Desktop Pro" in Keyboard preferences, and some multimedia keys are recognized in "Preference->keyboard shortcuts". It can read the XF86Back, XF86AudioMedia, XF86AudioMute, XF86AudioNext, XF86AudioPrev, XF86AudioStop, XF86AudioMail, and XF86VendorHome keys. 8 keys for a total of... more than 28 keys ! And nothing happens when I try to raise the volume through the keyboard. I'm running Edgy Eft which is up to date when I report this bug (28 Nov 2006). Xev program doesn't detect other keys than already reported ones.
