Re: [Bug 1519522] Re: Xorg crashes

2015-12-18 Thread Radics Ottó
I don't know how to reproduce this issue. It might be related to the
nouveau driver, because after I enabled the proprietary driver from nVidia,
I haven't experience the issue.

It happened approximately once or twice a day.

[Bug 1286878] Re: Doesn't scale well on a hidpi display

2015-07-10 Thread Radics Ottó
I am experiencing the bug on XPS 15 9530 4K.

1) Login screen is not scaled properly, should this resolve login screen
scaling?
2) Locking the screen goes well, I get the correctly scaled lightdm screen.

Resize grip appears in Covergloobus, too. When you have transparent
theme set in Covergloobus, the resize grip looks quite ugly.

[Bug 459037] Re: GDM doesn't fades in, when in fusion-icon compiz is activated.

2009-10-26 Thread Radics Ottó
It is reproducible. When I boot into Karmic, it loads, then login screen
appears. I type my password in, then GDM "fades" (> login effect, like in
Kubuntu) into my desktop, and then I can start work. It is good, when in
fusion-icon Metacity is the selected Window Manager. But when the selected
window manager is compiz, the login effect doesn't work. BUT! When I choose
Metacity, and then restart my computer, after login the effect works contrary
to that compiz is running, and working. It looks like the GDM reads whether
metacity is the selected WM from the fusion-icon's 'Select window manager'
selection. And if so, the fade-effect works, otherwise it doesn't.
I enable Compiz by installing proprietary drivers for my Ati card, then select
on visual effects tab the extra option. After these: sudo apt-get install
compizconfig-settings-manager.

Sorry for bad English. ;)

[Bug 459037] [NEW] GDM doesn't fades in, when in fusion-icon compiz is activated.

2009-10-23 Thread Radics Ottó
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

GDM doesn't fades in, when in fusion-icon compiz is activated.(In
fusion-icon it's just selected, compiz is running, and effects are
turned on. But I think, GDM uses the fusion-icon's information if compiz
is activated.) When metacity is the window manager, GDM's login effect
works properly.
