For me it only happen with close lid. I used the command in #6 and the system suspended normally. Upon resuming the system the network was still diabled and I had to kill the networkmanger to wake it up. I wasn't sure what output you need so I add the whole dbus-monitor output. The system went to suspend and woke up but the network stayed disabled.
