[Bug 1715037] Re: Whisker menu doesn't register hover and drag events properly
The bug is still present in Ubuntu 18.04. I have not noticed the flickering-bug of the whisker-menu button in the top left corner in any other xfce-distro but Xubuntu. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1715037 Title: Whisker menu doesn't register hover and drag events properly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-panel/+bug/1715037/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1722508] Re: Font hinting appears broken on 17.10 beta
In 17.10 (Gnome), when I change the font to 'Ubuntu Mono Regular', as I always do, and switch to Antialiasing LCD in gnome-tweak-tool and Hinting to Full, fonts look messy. When I do the same in Ubuntu 16.04 via unity-tweak-tool, fonts are crisp and sharp. [Bug 1727269] Re: Window buttons and window edges are not rendered/designed cleanly - Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome
The above mentioned darker window edges in 17.10 do not appear in all windows. They appear in Firefox, Thunderbird and e.g. the Gnome Terminal (maybe this has to do with gnome-terminal being at 2.24). [Bug 1727269] Re: Window buttons and window edges are not rendered/designed cleanly - Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome
In the attached screenshot one can see that there is a difference in the color of the outer pixels of the screen edge. In 17.10 there is a darker grey. Both windows were in the front, when the screenshots were taken. To me, due to the less smooth transition of colors, the screen edges in 17.10 look somewhat rough, ripped. ** Attachment added: "window_edges.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1727269/+attachment/4998650/+files/window_edges.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1727269 Title: Window buttons and window edges are not rendered/designed cleanly - Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1727269/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

Thanks for your quick reply. No, its on the Laptop screen with the correct driver for each laptop in place. Maybe I'm a little too sensitive for these cosmetic issues, the difference strikes me immediately. Maybe its just because the buttons are scaled a little bigger in 17.10. [Bug 1727280] [NEW] The Dropbox status icon is too small and offers no left- or right-click menu
Public bug reported: The Dropbox status icon is too small and offers no left- or right-click menu. The size of the icon seems to be about 16px and has no interactive funcionality. [Bug 1727269] [NEW] Window buttons and window edges are not rendered/designed cleanly - Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome
Public bug reported: Window buttons and window edges are not rendered/designed cleanly - Ubuntu 17.10 Gnome. This is really just a cosmetic issue.
