Thank you Clint. I actually upgraded by Ubuntu 11.04 to ubuntu11.10 and now that problem is resolved. But your comment would be a good help for others if they are also facing the same issue. The error as per /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_err file is :- Error: {cannot_connect_to_epmd,"openstack-Chef-Server",nxdomain} The content of /var/log/rabbitmq/startup_log file is:- Starting all nodes...
