I confirm for Jaunty as well. This is not bad ui design - it is a bug. It is a bug when the filename is highlighted but the treeview has the focus. Everybody would expect that the highlighted filename will be overwritten but nobody would expect to filter the treeview. Hello Brett The problem is, that the filename remains highlighted even when you click a folder. Therefore the user supposes that he can start overwriting the filename (because it is highlighted), which is not the case.
