Thanks for the answer and sorroy for the bug. Is it intendet to start rpc_gssd, idmapd manually (systemctl enable/start ...)? Are rhe options in /etc/default/nfs-common somehow evaluated? [Bug 559557] Re: bluetooth keyboards uses the wrong keyboard layout
I'am setup 10.04 (Kubuntu/Ubuntu current beta release). Both handled the Logitech-Dongle the same way - as a simple USB-Keyboard without any BT- functionality. So i connected a seperate BT-Dongle and disconnect the Logitech on. After pairing the Keyboard, I suffer the same problem again, the keyboard uses the wrong layout (en instead of de) (Both versions). Interesting: while the BT-Keyboard was connected and uses the wrong layout, I connected my emergency-USB-Keyboard (after the update to 10.04 I know why I need one ;) ) and suddenly both keyboards uses the correct layout. After I disconnect the USB-Keyboard, it's persist. It seams there is a rule, who apply the standard layout but these aren't fired if a bt-keyboard is connected -- bluetooth keyboards uses the wrong keyboard layout https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/559557 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list kubuntu-b...@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs

[Bug 619361] [NEW] dmraid fails to handle status set by ICH10R Bios
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: dmraid While exchanging a damaged Disk (some SMART-values recommended it) i suffer a strange bug. Cause of a needed reboot i used the BIOS built- in functionality to add the new disk to my RAID0. After booting all works fine (hidden IO from the leading disk to the new disk), except one thing. dmraid -s show me a status named nosync: *** Group superset isw_bjcjahbjci -- Active Subset name : isw_bjcjahbjci_system size : 488390912 stride : 128 type : mirror status : nosync subsets: 0 devs : 2 spares : 0 After a half hour, the IO disappear and the RAID is in sync (checked it, with booting from the new disk only attached to the PC) but the status from the RAID still remains on nosync. After forcing the raid to rebuild via dmraid (dmraid -R isw_bjcjahbjci_system) the status jumps immediately to ok, but the background IO appears again an syncing the raid again. Both behaviors are strange. dmraid should report the correct status. If a raid is rebuilding, it shouldn't reported as ok and if the rebuilding is done it should report as ok. No messages regarding dmraid appear in syslog neither in dmesg. Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity I've installed ubuntu on a system with two hard disk present. An old but huge IDE - disk and a fast sata2 disk. [Bug 551816] Re: Lynx no longer works with my logitech dinovo bluetooth mouse and keyboard
The Dinovo Edge works with lucid but in a different way. The dinovo dongle is now a fully usable BT-Dongle. The bad side, you have to pair your devices. First you must login, therefore you need a second keyboard. Press the connect button on the backside of the keyboard. Now you can start the pairing trough your bluetooth-manager. Give a random choosen 4 digit keyword for the pairing. After connecting the keyboard, enter this 4 digits on the keyboard and press enter. Now your keyboard should work as before.
