[Bug 495210] Re: Scribus(-ng) is causing stuck pixels in my LCD screen.
I knew it, someone has to mark this invalid. My LCD is fine, It only happens when I launch Scribus, I work with Graphics applications all the time, and Scribus is the only program causing this. -- Scribus(-ng) is causing stuck pixels in my LCD screen. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 495210] [NEW] Scribus(-ng) is causing stuck pixels in my LCD screen.
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: scribus-ng Hello, I know this may sound crazy, but I'm sure Scribus IS the cause, I first tried Scribus months ago, and I saw my first stuck pixel, I thought OK, it's normal, I got it fixed no problem. Then I installed Scribus-ng because I thought it supports Arabic, and got my second stuck pixel, after thinking about it, I remembered that it's the second time it happens after launching Scribus, so I decided to test the theory. I started it next morning to find a stuck pixel for the third time, all I did after that is: "sudo aptitude purge -y scribus scribus-ng". Maybe the problem is with the color management system. Please fix the problems and add support for arabic. P.S.: Please don't ask me to post a picture or do a test again, I wont risk my only screen, sorry. ** Affects: scribus-ng (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Scribus(-ng) is causing stuck pixels in my LCD screen. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/495210 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
