Public bug reported: Can't attach any files since system is not yet up. This area needs to be much much bigger to deal with this class of problem. [Bug 321326] [NEW] Unable to change Opening Balances initial value
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnucash When initially starting to use GnuCash, specific values for accounts are often not set nor filled in. This is done in the realistic expectation that the values can be changed later. Unfortunately, this is not the case. In particular, if you use the Druid's default chart of accounts, there is no way of changing any initial values. User should be able to change the initial value of the Opening Balances account (or any other account, for that matter) I am using: Ubuntu 8.04.2 and gnucash 2.2.4 Reg.
