[Bug 1647187] Re: gnome-software crashed with signal 5 in g_main_context_new()
On my system (Ubuntu 16.04) this crash occurs also ** Attachment added: "Selection_006.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1647187/+attachment/4816272/+files/Selection_006.png -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1647187 Title: gnome-software crashed with signal 5 in g_main_context_new() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-software/+bug/1647187/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1571854] Re: Recent samba updates broke mapi
Oh thank you very much. Downgrade worked for me. Now I finally can access the windows shares again :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1571854 Title: Recent samba updates broke mapi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-mapi/+bug/1571854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1572876] Re: After Samba upgrade can't access unpassworded windows share
If installing the gvfsd backends again, samba will be the newest version again. If doing downgrade as you suggested, the backends are gone and I get the above mentioned error. Isn't there a method how to downgrade the samba version to get windows shares AND Mapi in evolution to work again? I know the update was done because of an security error, but it is very annoying to start windows in an VM to get access to the shared directories :-( -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1572876 Title: After Samba upgrade can't access unpassworded windows share To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/samba/+bug/1572876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1572876] Re: After Samba upgrade can't access unpassworded windows share
I did the downgrade also, because since last update I could not authenticate at windows shares anymore. Now I get following error message in filemanager if trying to access smb://[server-adress]/ Failed to execute child process "/usr/lib/gvfs/gvfsd-network" (No such file or directory). any idea? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1572876 Title: After Samba upgrade can't access unpassworded windows share To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/samba/+bug/1572876/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1571854] Re: Recent samba updates broke mapi
Same issue here, since last update cannot connect to windows shares anymore and MAPI in evolution is gone. Since I'm an Ubuntu Newby I would appreciate a workaround for both issues. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1571854 Title: Recent samba updates broke mapi To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-mapi/+bug/1571854/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
