[Bug 993187] Re: ubuntu 12.04 completely freezes frequently.

2012-07-28 Thread Regression
I experimented various freezes/lockups with 12.10 but with Oneiric 11.10
and even Lucid LTS ( 10.04) too since a recent upgrade !

I had less problems since I upgrade firefox ( another deceptive one )
14.01 and now 15... but it is another story...

It is really a shame... I agree with Hein (#130) "I completely lost my
faith in Ubuntu- bug fixing"... But I will not moveback to Micr0$0ft ^^

I work offline with the old jaunty and karmic koala and I've got no
problem ... voilĂ  !

Update: So far so good with latest kernel 3.5 (3.5.0-6.6 quantal-
proposed) ... but I guess it will freeze soon or later... and I
willslowly move to another distro ;-'(

[Bug 769273] Re: context menu closes on mouse over

2011-09-18 Thread Regression
here is a good workaround : Go to advanced javascript settings in
firefox under Edit >Preferences >Content.

Enter in 'Advanced' to 'javascript' and uncheck 'Disable or replace
contex menus'

It works just fine for me on affected pages/sites ;-)
