[Bug 1935816] [NEW] Liferea articles don’t respect dark theme
Public bug reported: I think Liferea on my system is affected by https://github.com/lwindolf/liferea/issues/973. Simply upgrading Liferea to 1.13.6 in the PPA would resolve the issue. ** Affects: liferea (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1935816 Title: Liferea articles don’t respect dark theme To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/liferea/+bug/1935816/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1771522] [NEW] Liferea is outdated
Public bug reported: Liferea is showing a keyring error when I try to start it hidden. I believe this is fixed in Liferea 1.12.3, but Liferea in the Ubuntu repositories is still on version 1.12.2 See https://github.com/lwindolf/liferea/releases/tag/v1.12.3 ** Affects: liferea (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1771522 Title: Liferea is outdated To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/liferea/+bug/1771522/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1770827] Re: GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen
My Gnome theme is Awaita-dark, but I don’t see how this is related. /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css is a symlink to /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css is configured using update-alternatives /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css by default is a symlink to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css in my case is a symlink to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css Modifying /etc/alternatives/gdm3.css (aka /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css) impacts the login screen Modifying /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css impacts the lock screen By default this is the same as the login screen. I would expect the lock screen to also use gdm3.css instead of ubuntu.css. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770827 Title: GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1770827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1770827] [NEW] GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen
Public bug reported: I have configured a custom alternative for gdm3.css. $ update-alternatives --display gdm3.css gdm3.css - manual mode link best version is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css link currently points to /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css link gdm3.css is /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/gdm3.css /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/trinity.css - priority 1 /usr/share/gnome-shell/theme/ubuntu.css - priority 10 This alternative is used for the login screen, but not for the lock screen. I would expect this to be used for both. ** Affects: gdm3 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1770827 Title: GDM doesn’t use alternative for lock screen To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm3/+bug/1770827/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1746426] [NEW] Totem is not associated with any mime types
Public bug reported: In /usr/share/applications/totem.desktop no MimeType key is specified. I believe this causes several tools to not be able to open video files. For example, the following commands fail silently: xdg-open asd.mkv gio open asd.mvv The following command does open the file, but outputs it's being deprecated in favor of 'gio open'. gvfs-open I think his is basically https://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=842805, but for Ubuntu instead of Debian, and on a Totem version where it has already been fixed for Debian. [Bug 1679533] [NEW] Messaging menu doesn't show up
Public bug reported: The messaging menu doesn't show up. It should, because I use Liferea, which normally uses this. The indicator worked fine when I ran Xubuntu 16.10, but since I did a fresh reinstall (keeping dotfiles) of Xubuntu 17.04 (some pre-alpha version), the messaging menu no longer appeared. ** Affects: xfce4-indicator-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1679533 Title: Messaging menu doesn't show up To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-indicator-plugin/+bug/1679533/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1406516] [NEW] Autostarted applycations don't render correctly
Public bug reported: Some applications don't render correctly if they have been launched by Xfce autostart. Some of the applications include: - Liferea - Thunderbird - Terminator (transparency doesn't work) Some unaffected applications are: - Pidgin - Gajim This bug has been around since I first started using Xubuntu. (I guess this was 11.04.) The screenshot attached was taken in Xubuntu 14.10. Workaround: Close the affected applications and start them manually. [Bug 1363910] [NEW] GTK2 theme not loaded from ~/.local/share/themes
Public bug reported: In Xubuntu 13.10 I was able to load themes from ~/.local/share/themes. In Xubuntu 14.04 I can still load the GTK3 theme, but not the GTK2 theme. Workaround: Load the themes from ~/.themes. Downside: Cluttered home directory. How to reproduce: 1. Download a theme and put in in ~/.themes. 2. Open settings manager and a GTK3 app. (I used gedit.) 3. Apply the downloaded theme. So far everything should work. 4. Move the downloaded theme to ~/.local/share/themes. 5. Apply another theme and reapply the downloaded one. At this point only the GTK2 theme is loaded.
