[Bug 1077660] [NEW] Large installation size after upgrade from Kubuntu 12.04 to 12.10
Public bug reported: After upgrade (using using kubuntu-devel-release-upgrade), my root directory increase from ~5Gb to 10Gb! I already use "apt-get autoremove", "aptitude clean", remove all packages listed by "deborphan", my logs are tiny (on /var/log) and the old Kernel (3.2.0) was already removed. Check image attached from xdiskspace. As I use a SSD (80Gb), each byte is important for me. # df -Th Sist. Arq. Tipo Tam Usad Dispon. Helping here: The user told when he print somes copies, the libreoffice create a lot of tasks on print manager instead just one task with the number of the copies. E.g.: If he print 100 copies of one file, the printer manager shows 100 tasks instead just one task with 100 copies. [Bug 380392] [NEW] Use ODF 1.1 as standard instead ODF 1.2 (Draft)
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: openoffice.org As we know, ODF 1.2 is still a *draft* and IMHO can't be used in stable releases. ISO/IEC 26300 recommend ODF 1.0/1.1, so I think that is a good idea use it as default (we can found this option in Tools --> Options --> Load/Save --> ODF Version. This kind of problem result in lower interoperability because some office suites follow ODF 1.0/1.1 as recommended in ISO/IEC 26300 and others follow ODF 1.2 (draft). In work environment this is very frustrated, because a mix of formats (ODF 1.1 and ODF 1.2) result in files that can't be manipulated in all office suites. Regards, Renato S. I add this in xorg.conf (that is empty): == Section "Device" Identifier "Configured Video Device" Option "AccelMethod" "XAA" EndSection == But when I restart X, I get a strange signal, very similar as an analog TV with no signal (http://tinyurl.com/cl3blb), and nothing work (no key, no terminal, etc).
