[Bug 1068921] Re: Mailbox grows endlessly, heavy traffic

[Bug 807022] Re: 11.04 fails to boot from USB 3.0 stick
The only solutions in there that I think applies to this case is to use (1) Ubuntu's own startup disk creator program and (2) to plug the USB stick into an USB 2.0 slot instead of an USB 3.0 slot. As for (1), that I what I used. As for (2) it helps, that is, it boots alright if I plug the USB 3.0 stick into an USB 2.0 slot but not if I plug it into a USB 3.0 slot. But that is a workaround and not a fix. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/807022 Title: 11.04 fails to boot from USB 3.0 stick To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/807022/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 122508] Re: Notes sometimes not closing
It's still a problem however, as said, its a bug that seems to happen irregularly so it's hard to reproduce at command. Also I think a screenshot won't be of much help. What it looks like is the tomboy window bugging is showing up in gnome's window list but when clicked it won't open, it just blinks in the window list when clicked without being opened. -- Notes sometimes not closing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 122516] Re: Display broken when changing resolution in gnome
I changed from 1280x960 to 1024x768 the screen went blank and I waited out the change resolution timer to change it back to 1280x960, it tried to but the screen remained blank except for an artifact which appeared to the left under the center of my screen. So I CTRL+ALT+F2 to a terminal and captured the /var/log/Xorg.0.log which I've attached. ** Attachment added: "/var/log/Xorg.0.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/8321782/Xorg.0.log -- Display broken when changing resolution in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122516 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 122516] Display broken when changing resolution in gnome
Public bug reported: Sometimes after changing resolution in gnome display gets all messed up either by showing fragments of former resolution or a blank screen. My setup support the resolution I change to because I can usually use them. This started happening after I added a second monitor for resolutions below including 1024x768. When this happens sometimes computer is unresponsive forcing me to power off to reboot or I'm able to ctrl+alt+FX to a console and reboot. ** Affects: Ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Display broken when changing resolution in gnome https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122516 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 122508] Notes sometimes not closing
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: tomboy When I close a note in tomboy its window dissapear but it remains in gnome's window list. As I click on it in the window list nothing happens, right-clicking on it choosing close doesn't help. This has only happened (though many times) to one of my notes. It's hard to tell how to reproduce but to open a note and try closing it because it only (as of yet) affect one of my notes and it doesn't happen for this note all the time. ** Affects: tomboy (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Notes sometimes not closing https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/122508 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 118257] Cowbell crashes when trying to open files
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: cowbell When I tried to open a directory of FLACs in Cowbell it crashed. I'm using Cowbell 0.2.7.1 from feisty and it normally don't crash when opening files except for those in this particular directory. Since they're FLAC files they're quite clumsy to link but I'll try to do that or supply info from doing metaflac on them if you ask me to.
