[Bug 1323337] [NEW] Unity virtualbox window restore bumps up content

2014-05-26 Thread Ricardo David
Public bug reported:

  affects ubuntu/virtualbox

When a virtualbox client maximized window is restore from Super+W
command, all applications running inside the guest that has a normal
state window and was positioned right above the programs bar gets its
position altered some pixels above the original.

How to reproduce:
- run a MS Windows guest (XP and 7 confirmed) in maximized mode;
- open Windows Explorer window in a normal state and put it right above
the program bar (inside the guest);
- assign the Super+W command and choose the Windows Guest window.

Confirmed on Ubuntu with Unity (all versions) with Virtualbox 4.1 and
above.

Expected the position of the applications inside the guest to be
preserved.

** Affects: virtualbox (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: New
