[Bug 998367] Re: fingerprint login can't access encrypted home user account

2020-12-12 Thread Ricardo Silveira
I still see the issue with 20.04

After a reboot, I get the 'swipe finger to login' message.
I swipe, it tries to login and immediately logouts.
I then have to wait for the timeout to enter the password, I login and logout,
and the fingerprint now works without any issue.

Message on syslog is the same as above mentioned
fprintd[1154]: Device responded with error: 789
fprintd[1154]: Ignoring device due to initialization error: The driver
encountered a protocol error with the device.

[Bug 768542] Re: time and date settings do not open when selected from top menu

2011-04-21 Thread Ricardo Silveira Cabral
curious... it ran for a minute or so (without any windows being
displayed whatsoever) without any message and then

(indicator-datetime-preferences:9162): Unique-DBus-WARNING **: Error
while sending message: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include:
the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security
policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network
connection was broken.

[Bug 393135] [NEW] Build PDF/PS/DVI disappeared from toolbar

2009-06-28 Thread Ricardo Silveira Cabral
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gedit-latex-plugin

Version 0.2rc1 has no button on the toolbar for building ps/pdf/dvi
files from tex. Although this is present in the tools menu, I believe it
shouldn't be removed from the toolbar, as this command is a main step in
the latex document writing workflow. Also, the addition of this button
as present in previous versions will not clutter the UI, as there is
space available on the toolbar (and i say this using a eeepc with a 9
display).
