[Bug 518533] Re: Unable to mount location Not Authorized after nautilus upgrade
Not sure whether to report this as the same bug? My system is a clean install of 10.04 with current patches applied. For the past few weeks if I try to access my second sata drive (from Nautilus) straight after boot up I get... Unable to mount location Not Authorized. The shutdown icon greys out and I'm forced to sudo reboot from the terminal. It appears if I wait a minute or two after bootup everything is ok. -- Unable to mount location Not Authorized after nautilus upgrade https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/518533 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
Re: [Bug 226279] Re: Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM
I fixed wifi on an Acer laptop with madwifi drivers. try madwifi.org and google your chipset. its a bit of a convoluted process but it worked ok in the end. Re: [Bug 226279] Re: Kernel 2.6.24-17 - broken resume from suspend to RAM
There is a detailed step by step howto on the ubuntu forum. sorry I dont have the link its on my friends laptop. thats why I suggested googling for ..ubuntu, wifi-chipset-name to bring it up. Ohb01 wrote: Richard Coates, thanks for the tip. Having said this, I chose Ubuntu largely because I had hoped to avoid googling my chipset and other convoluted processes just to restore my network work after a kernel upgrade. I'm not a software engineer, just a home user hoping for a secure and stable alternative to Windows. I would be happy to try anything within reason, but I would really appreciate detailed, reproducible instructions. Public bug reported: I have a crash report but it is 3.8MB how do I attach it? I have no idea which mono package crashed, the report just said mono crash.
