[Bug 891369] Re: package procps 1:3.2.8-11ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: start: Unknown parameter: UPSTART_EVENTS
Seems to be tied to the iscsitarget sysctl settings. These were previously fine, but something in the new kernel doesn't support the "net.ipv4.tcp_mem" property anymore. Temporary fix is to comment that line out of the /etc/sysctl.d/30-iscsitarget.conf file (add a # at the beginning of line 7) net.core.wmem_max=1048576 net.core.rmem_max=1048576 net.core.wmem_default=1048576 net.core.rmem_default=1048576 #net.ipv4.tcp_mem=1048576 net.ipv4.tcp_rmem=1048576 net.ipv4.tcp_wmem=1048576 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/891369 Title: package procps 1:3.2.8-11ubuntu2 failed to install/upgrade: start: Unknown parameter: UPSTART_EVENTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/procps/+bug/891369/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 197068] Re: No stream found to handle url dvd://1 in 8.04 Alpha 5
Duplicated on an AMD64 desktop (os is i386) using Hardy 8.04 Alpha 5. This happens in Totem and mplayer as well. Some people reported that Totem's "Play Disc" option works, but it also gave the same error for me in this case. -- No stream found to handle url dvd://1 in 8.04 Alpha 5 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197068 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 197153] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV
@Bryce: that's good to hear there's a new tool being developed. You don't actually seem to mention its name anywhere though - are you referring to the individual per-driver proprietary settings tools (like nvidia-settings) as the successor to displayconfig-gtk ? or is there something else. For the record, I like the approach of having a display config tool that is independent of the driver to a degree (or at least always in the same menu spot like displayconfig-gtk is). Would it be possible to make the "Screens and graphics" link be some sort of switching alias that launches the specific config tool (e.g. nvidia-settings) for the loaded X driver if available, and the deprecated displayconfig-gtk as a fallback ? -- gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/197153 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
