[Bug 989607] Re: Need to disconnect and reconnect trackball at start-up.
I apologize about the delay. I used 3.4 rc4 and the issue seems to be resolved. ** Tags added: kernel-fixed-upstream -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/989607 Title: Need to disconnect and reconnect trackball at start-up. [Bug 989607] [NEW] Need to disconnect and reconnect trackball at start-up.
Public bug reported: I have a Gateway NV51B15u notebook and a wireless Logitech M570 trackball. With 11.10 I always had the dongle plugged in to the same USB port on the side of the computer. After doing a clean install of 12.04 last night I have no use of the trackball at start-up. If I unplug the dongle and plug it back in it works fine. If I use the other port on the same side of the computer it works as normal at start- up. This isn't so much a bug as it's hampering my usage it's more a concern for similar issues on a desktop where it's not as easy to unplug and plug devices. ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/989607 Title: Need to disconnect and reconnect trackball at start-up.
