Re: [Bug 1223578] Re: [ASUSTeK Computer INC. 901] suspend/resume failure
Hi Christopher, I have at last updated the BIOS on my Asus Eee 901 and the error message I was getting has gone. However, the computer is slow to react and the shut down dialogue (when it comes up first after a delay) is greyed out. It eventually goes solid but is slow to react. Also intermittently other dialogues go grey. The machine is now about 5 years old and perhaps I should replace it. Currently it uses a compact flash adapter and compact flash hard disk as the PC is a Linux version and the 4 Gig hard drive was becoming a limiting problem. [Bug 339891] Re: [Jaunty] wireless rt2860 not connecting to WPA
As a thicko just trying to get his Ralink 2860 to work I succeeded as suggested to use the Array.org info detailed in another web site on my Eee 901. Being an absolute idiot I was hoping to geo t a succinct set of instructions here as I unfortunately fitted the same "Linux Compatible" Ralink 2860 card kit to my Laptop which I am currently having to use a cable for. Does anyone have a guaranteed short method of getting this unit to work. Or do we all wait for the next version of Ubuntu for it to work out of the box so to speak. After all this was reported as being a fix to be incorporated into Jaunty! -- [Jaunty] wireless rt2860 not connecting to WPA https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/339891 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
