Later when I ran ubiquity from Terminal the installation worked without any
problems. After installation I'm not able to run 'ubuntu-bug ubiquity'. I
assume it's been deleted automatically?

[Bug 1166908] [NEW] Install hangs Ubuntu 13.04 beta 2 + eeePC

2013-04-09 Thread Rom Raptor
Public bug reported:

I've tried to install Ubuntu 13.04 beta 2 32-bit
and daily (april 9th) 32-bit
on my ASUS EeePC X101CH-BLK009S.

Neither can get past the wireless network screen during installation.
It just loads forever when I click Continue.
I have no wireless network so it's not a network issue.

Just running Ubuntu from CD works perfectly fine.

This is more a design opinion than a bug.

[Bug 899631] [NEW] Login fails if you login too fast

2011-12-03 Thread Rom Raptor
Public bug reported:

When I installed Oneiric I chose a one letter password since I'm the
only one in my apartment and there's no need for advanced security. When
I login at the login screen I have to wait for a second between my
password and pressing enter, otherwise I just get back to the login
screen. Also, I noticed when I tried changing my password in Ubuntu I
needed to choose a really safe password, otherwise it wouldn't accept
the changes. This is both inconsistent and unnecessary imo.

[Bug 885830] Re: Gm-notify creates two instances of Chrome in launcher

2011-12-03 Thread Rom Raptor
The tool tip of the new launcher icon is "Untitled - Google Chrome" as
opposed to just "Google Chrome". Also it seems to have an icon in lower
resolution. Also I tried this with a Live CD and the bug is still there
so it's nothing that I've messed up after installation.

[Bug 892518] [NEW] HDMI click noise in Oneiric 64-bit

2011-11-19 Thread Rom Raptor
Public bug reported:

I get a clicking noise on my TV that is connected with HDMI.
It is not the TV because it's quiet when I'm running Windows on the same
computer.
Motherboard: ASRock H67M B3 with built in Intel HD Graphics 2000/3000.
This wasn't present in Natty 64-bit.

Yes the issue is still present in Oneiric. Could you give me more info
about how to create that log. Just insert an SD Card and then type gvfs-
mount -o in terminal?

[Bug 883830] [NEW] Only one internal harddrive selectable during install

2011-10-30 Thread Rom Raptor
Public bug reported:

I recently installed ubuntu 11.10.

In my computer I had two harddrives:
1. 60 GB SATA3 SSD with Windows 7
2. 1TB SATA2 ordinary harddrive empty

When I chose install alongside Windows, only option 2 was selectable in
dropdown menu, so I had to disconnect it and reboot to be able to select
option 1. Both were selectable in advanced option though so it's that
the computer didn't recognize the SSD disc the first time around.

[Bug 822084] [NEW] Can't auto open SD cards (Oneiric alpha 3)

2011-08-06 Thread Rom Raptor
Public bug reported:

In Natty 64-bit i chose to automatically open SD cards with Nautilus.
Then what happened was when I inserted an SD card it would open fora
second and then close. Sometime during early summer the bug disappeared
(i'm guessing some update fixed it). Today I tried Oneiric alpha 3
64-bit and the bug is back.

PS. I've tried different card readers and yes it works every time in
Natty (since early summer) and never in Oneiric alpha 3.
