[Bug 973100] Re: 12.04 has experienced an internal error

2012-04-03 Thread Roy H Huddleston
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 926758 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/926758

The 19 inch Acer (AL1914) monitor connected to Diablotek ATI Radeon 7500
MB PCI vga port on the second PCI slot comes on when Lubuntu 12.04 boots
up. Then the 17 inch Dell monitor connected to the XFX Nvidia Geforce
9500 PCI Express vga port comes on as the Radeon goes off. Then the 22
inch Dell monitor connected Geforce 9500 dvi comes on twin view with the
17 inch Dell monitor. At shutdown when the Dells go out the Acer comes
on during shutdown. I hope this helps.

[Bug 971839] Re: aptd crashed with UnboundLocalError in _emit_acquire_item(): local variable 'lang' referenced before assignment

2012-04-02 Thread Roy H Huddleston
I was working with my graphics cards. I have an XFX 1 GB PCI-e running
my Dell 22 inch monitor on dvi and my Dell 17 inch monitor. On my first
PCI I have the ATI Radeon 64 MB graphics card running the Acer 19 inch
monitor. The Acer is working now but the Nvidia is giving me troubles
because it is saying no proprietary drivers are in use on this system.
Probably not related.

My Nvidia problems are gone. The 280.13 driver is working great. At this time
Software Center blinks on then off. Streamtuner2 doesn't get that far. But my
regular Streamtuner is working great. I am using the updated 3.0.0.11.18
kernel. Gimp was just up updated in this last update.

[Bug 822913] Re: update-manager crashed with TypeError in normalize(): character mapping must return integer, None or unicode

2011-08-10 Thread Roy H Huddleston
I was having a ramz error. I changed Radeon x1300 to Nvidia 9500 Gt at
the time. I also was running a Debian Testing with multiarch similiar to
this Lubuntu Alpha 3. I am updated to Kernel 3.0.0.8 with is changeover
from the older Lubuntu version of Natty to this newer version of Ubuntu
Lubuntu 11.10. I hope that came out right.
