Then the 17 inch Dell monitor connected to the XFX Nvidia Geforce 9500 PCI Express vga port comes on as the Radeon goes off. Then the 22 inch Dell monitor connected Geforce 9500 dvi comes on twin view with the 17 inch Dell monitor. At shutdown when the Dells go out the Acer comes on during shutdown. I was working with my graphics cards. I have an XFX 1 GB PCI-e running my Dell 22 inch monitor on dvi and my Dell 17 inch monitor. On my first PCI I have the ATI Radeon 64 MB graphics card running the Acer 19 inch monitor. The Acer is working now but the Nvidia is giving me troubles because it is saying no proprietary drivers are in use on this system. I had this same problem from Alpha 3, Beta1 and now Beta2. The kernels were working fine with recovery mode until 3.0.0.11.18. I notice the same problem with that last kernel mentioned in Beta1 and now Beta2 with recovery mode. The 280.13 driver is working great. At this time Software Center blinks on then off. Streamtuner2 doesn't get that far. But my regular Streamtuner is working great. I am using the updated 3.0.0.11.18 kernel. [Bug 822913] Re: update-manager crashed with TypeError in normalize(): character mapping must return integer, None or unicode
I was having a ramz error. I changed Radeon x1300 to Nvidia 9500 Gt at the time. I also was running a Debian Testing with multiarch similiar to this Lubuntu Alpha 3. I am updated to Kernel 3.0.0.8 with is changeover from the older Lubuntu version of Natty to this newer version of Ubuntu Lubuntu 11.10.
