[Bug 694910] Re: Regression: patch to bug 539477 breaks Super+P keybindings
And for those poor users with silly hardware, the «control panel» should warn their users that video-out sadly has to be mapped to «super+p» to work if the keycode is hardcoded by the vendor. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/694910 Title: Regression: patch to bug 539477 breaks Super+P keybindings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/694910/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 694910] Re: Regression: patch to bug 539477 breaks Super+P keybindings
You could also probably just remove the «video-out» shortcut key who is mapped on «super+p». These hotkeys configurations should probably be easier to configure from some settings panel as «super+p» is used in IDE's for example. Another example is that «super+p» is often used in xmonad for spawning dmenu as «most» users remap xmonad's modifier key to super. This was tested and confirmed to work in Debian Wheezy, since I got the tip from this bug report and post #18 to dig into dconf-editor and check org->gnome->settings-daemon->plugins->media-keys. I guess this also works for Ubuntu users and I highly suggest this setting to be easily configurable thru «control panel» or wherever you configure hotkeys in Ubuntu for usability. :-) I also support others that this shouldn't be the default behavior to override «super+p» globally due to hardware vendors doing silly stuff.

[Bug 164128] Re: dhclient should accept routing options
This bug affects me, as my SpeedTouch home router seems to switch over to 249 - Classless Static Routes after Ive been into Windows 7 instead of using the RFC Classless Static Routes 121. Might also be related to https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/dhcp3/+bug/164128 . I also made a blog post about the issue: http://www.roysindre.no/a/2009/11/05/dhclient-classless-static-route-bug/ -- dhclient should accept routing options https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 307204] Re: [jaunty] option rfc3442-classless-static-routes causes missing routes
I'm not sure if this is related, but I've also have had some issues with dhclient not fetching the default route from my speedtouch home router. I went digging a bit and noticed my speedtouch handing out some kind of Microsoft proprietary classless static routing 249 instead of the default classless static route 121 from the official RFC. Removing the rfc3442-classless-static-routes makes the router issue a normal default route (dhcp option 3). I've made a blog post on it here: http://www.roysindre.no/a/2009/11/05/dhclient-classless-static-route- bug/ -- [jaunty] option rfc3442-classless-static-routes causes missing routes https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307204 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 474717] [NEW] installer doesn't let me partition any harddrive
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity installer doesn't list any harddrive to partition, but using a terminal and using gparted , parted or cfdisk shows /dev/sda 40GB disk which I can partition. [Bug 217749] Re: [Intrepid + Hardy] Regression: External crypto-drives are not automounted after given password
Still happens per today, with Ubuntu Intrepid. I found this bug rapport: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-mount/+bug/117011 Maybe mark one of the bugs as a duplicate? I've confirmed auto mounting is working as stated in bug #117011, __if__ you partition up your usb pen drive. That's my quick resolution until this gets fixed.
